Shhhh...

Shhh...don't tell my brother, but I'm going to give this blogging a try. I see Bugsy updating this blog and I keep thinking, I'm a big girl now, I can do this too.

My mom and dad put up this thing called a Christmas tree today, whatever that is. I'll just die if I can't get my paws on one of those shiny ornament things. But my mom and dad hung them too high for me to reach. Maybe I can coax Bugsy into grabbing one for me? We are, afterall, becomming partners in crime! I'll let you know how it goes. That is, if I can sneak back on this computer without my brother finding out.

These Bugs are Beat!

We have had a constant stream of visitors this week and we are BEAT!! My great grandpa John came in this past Tuesday and we have kept him entertained. I like him a lot, but when he decides to give Molly some attention, I make sure to move in there to remind him that I'm here. Then the whole family got here for Thanksgiving--my Hal, grandma Laura, grandma and grandpa Sobek, Uncle Randy, the McKeevers and Aunt Diane. I did my best to pay equal amounts attention to each one of them. But there is only so much Bug to go around.
My dad's friend Audrey came to visit too, so you can see that I have been non-stop all week. Molly and I are going to sleep all weekend, I'm sure. I'm BEAT!

Rub a dub dub

As you know, I am a fan of the bubbles....so, I decided to introduce my new sister to my favorite evening pasttime. She picked it up pretty nicely, actually. I've been spending much of my time teaching her the ropes. She already mastered the dog door and the stairs. I've been teaching her my route for my evening walks. There's only one thing that drives me crazy...she steals my raw hides right out of my mouth. I've got to put a stop to that!!

Buggy Bath Time

Today, I helped my parents give Molly a bath...her very first at home. I remember when my parents gave me a bath in that sink. Where has the time gone?

Big Brother

It's a tough job being a big brother. I have so much ground to cover with Molly. Luckily, I think we have the dog door down. She's pretty tiny but she has no fear jumping through that thing. She is better at it than my Chelsea! She chases me around and steals the occassional rawhide from my mouth, but I'll be patient with her. Patience is a virtue, whatever that means!

It's a good thing she is too small to jump up on the couches, because I can jump up real fast and taunt her when she really wants to chase me. But, she gets back at me when she ducks underneath my parent's bed. Oh man, she crawls under there and swings a paw at me, and tries to get me to chase her. But I'm just not as nimble as she is when it comes to that bed.

So far so good. My parents assure me I am up to the task of being Big Brother.

I've got a Sister

Hey Guys, its me, Bugsy. I'm happy to report I am now a brother. My Dad picked up my new sister in Colton tonight. Unfortunatley my Mom is in San Diego, so she hasn't even seen my new sister in person yet. My Dad isn't very good at taking pictures of me and my new sister (oh yah, I forgot, her name is Molly), so he'll get some better ones this weekend. And the best thing about my new sister is that she is a Bugg like me. Can you believe it?!

Her mom was a Bugg, and her Dad was a Boston Terrier. So I guess that makes her 3 quarters Boston Terrier and 1/4 pug. She's got a little brindle in her coloring, but mostly she looks like a normal Boston Terrier. She sure is fun, we played so hard both of us passed right out. It will be a lot of fun showing her the ropes. I'll take her threw my garden, show her how to crawl under the covers at nighttime and under the bed. Plus I'll also show her how great walks are. I can't wait to play with her some more.

Maybe I'll have to change the name of my Dlog to Hey, this is Bugsy and Molly's Dlog. We'll see, I'm still working on some creative titles. Anyway, I'm pretty tired now, so I better go. I'll have my Dad post some more pictures later. Bye now.

Most popular bug in the neighborhood

I had the best night on Halloween. Every time the doorbell would ring, I would circle around in front of the door. My dad would pick me up and my mom would grab the bowl of candy. The neighborhood kids were dressed in costumes and take some of my candy. All the kids would say, "Oh look, its Bugsy." I am so popular!

To cap the night off, my uncles Dewey and Cody came to visit. That was the greatest treat of all!
