Sorry Aunt Kelly

I'm feeling a little down today. I just found out some sad news about my Aunt Kelly--her dad died today. It makes me feel sad. Kelly gave me my first dog pillow and my favorite hoodie! Kelly is so good to me and I wish I could be there to give her soft kisses.

This news came after a nice long weekend. My grandma Carol was here and we cleaned the house together. I also visited with Longfellow. We played a little more rough than usual, because I have a bloody wound on my neck now. I didn't tell my parents because I was just having so much fun. But my mom freaked out when she found the cut. Now she puts some cream or something on my neck twice a day. She worries too much. But I guess that's what moms do.

Me and My Boo

I am having so much fun with my lady friend, Chelsea. We are really good about sharing my toys and rawhides. You know, relationships are give and take...and we really have that down!

Meet my lady friend, Chelsea

I have had the most crazy social life lately. It's exhausting being this popular. Just two weekends ago, I was in Las Vegas hanging with my uncles Dewey and Cody. Then last weekend, I had a rendezvous with Longfellow before going to visit my Aunt Dutchess. This weekend, Dewey and Cody came out to MY house. And now, my Chelsea is here to stay at my house.
I guess Chelsea's mom is having her baby today, so Chelsea is going to crash at my pad until they bring the baby home. I am hoping to lay some serious groundwork in our relationship while she is here. I'll let her play with my loofa and even drink out of my water bowl. My parents say we make a nice looking couple. Plus, she shares my love for clothing. Dad told me to wear some Cool Water to woo her. I think its working...

Hey...long time no blog

Hey, this is Bugsy. As you can see, I continue to dig as often as I can in my backyard. I try to be discreet but my parents always discover my new holes when I come inside looking like this! My mom says I look like "Hitler Bug" in this photo...whatever that means!

I had a good weekend. We visited my Hal (grandpa and business partner) in Vegas and I got to hang out with my uncles Dewey and Cody. They are my best friends. And then, I get to visit Longfellow this upcoming weekend, followed by a visit with my aunt Dutchess for Mothers Day. I really get around don't I? It's hard to be a popular Bug.

Happy Mother's Day to all those mother fans out there. Kisses and wiggles...

I'm in Bug Heaven

They this is Bugsy...I am having the time of my life. My grandpa (and business partner) is visiting this weekend because he is golfing in some Carson Palmer golf tournament, whatever golf is. So, he brought my uncles Dewey and Cody to play with me. I have developed this new squeaky sound when I play with Cody. My parents say I sound like one of my squeek toys.
I understand we are going to the bark park tomorrow. It will be my first time in the big dog park. I'm up for the adventure. I can hang with the big boys.
I better go now. I have to lick some chops, steal some toys from Cody, and follow Dewey around. So much to accomplish in one weekend. Bye now...

Time to play

I'm finally free to go outside. Sometimes I can be kind of crazy...must be the pug in me! But what would you do if you were cooped up all day inside???

Smile...its me...the Bug

Hey, its me...Bugsy. I thought I might indulge you with a "day in the life" update.

Every morning, my mom wakes up first. I could get up, but I really like to sleep, so I stay snuggled under the covers with my dad. I admit, I like to hit the snooze button quite a few times.

Then, my dad gets in the shower and I stay in bed. I usually crawl far underneath the comforter. I wait to hear the shower door open and then I run to be with my dad and I help him get dressed.

My mom leaves for work and then my dad and I go for a walk. I'm a pretty good walker I guess. My uncles Cody and Dewey taught me how to mark important spots along the way. I'm a big dog now.

I'm an inside dog (although I would like to be able to go outside too...please write to my mom and dad to urge them to get me a dog door) so I spend most of my time in the same damn room. So, I pass the time with my kong, and I rip through my grandpa's shoe, and I go hang out on the couches I am not supposed to be on. I nap some and then I dig into my bed and throw the styrafoam from the bed all over the place. My mom tried to teach me to put my toys away, but I'm not going to do it...until I get my dog door that is!

Sometimes my mom comes home at lunch and that's a treat. Otherwise, I wait ALL DAY until mom gets home. Lately, she has been taking me on really long walks. I cruise the neighborhood to make sure everything is looking good. I mark my spots. Then I go out into my garden. Lately I have been digging some serious holes in the grass. My dad yells at me about it. But what do you expect? I'm part terrier. That's what terriers do! I try to conceal my digging, but I always get caught when I come back inside with dirt all over my face. Damn!

Then my mom, dad and I ususally watch a variety of reality television. It's stupid, but I can't reach the remote control, so I guess I'm stuck.

Here's a slideshow of things I do around the house. Man, it sure would be nice to come and go as I please through a dog door.....

Hey, its the Easter Bugsy!

Hey, it's me...the Easter Bugsy. My mom made me wear these stupid ears for this picture. Don't worry though, I made her earn it. I had her running around the yard for at least 30 minutes. I hate those ears.

We just got back from San Diego. My aunt Dutchess sure doesn't like me to intrude on her space at grandma and grandpa's place. She growls at me when I even get in her vicinity. I mean, all I want to do is play! I really like my grandma's garden. So many flowers for me to smell and a big hill for me to explore. Its like 5 times the size of my own garden.

I've had a busy weekend. I helped my grandpa wash the cars and I helped my grandma water the garden. I'm going to sleep really well tonight.

Anyway, I hope you all had a great Easter. The bunny brought me my own basket this year...I have a new loofa dog. I'm jazzed.

Bye now...

Shoes

Hi guys, its me Bugsy! Sorry its been awhile since I hit you all up. I've been busy with this
and that and what not.

You can see from my picture to the right that I am a big fan of shoes. This picture was taken of me when I still pretty little and I could fit inside my Dads's shoe. He has blue Pumas. They're pretty cool looking I think. But you know what, they taste even better. I ripped out the insole in this shoe and munched on that for awhile. But my Dad caught me doing it, so I haven't had a chance to eat this one in awhile.

But, as you may have guessed, I found other delicacies to snack on. Just last week, I ate 3 pairs of my Mom's shoes. First, I ate her Coach flip flops. Damn, those things were tasty. They had rubber and leather. Quite the delicacy for someone who likes to chew things like I do. Next, I ate a pair of my Mom's old Mary Jane shoes. I don't know what Mary Janes are, but that leather sure was tasty. I destroyed those things. If you saw those shoes now, they almost look like flip flops now because I ate out their heels.

You would think that my Mom would have learned to put away her shoes, or at least put them in a place I can't get, but no...she didn't. Just this past Thursday I snacked on her favorite work shoes, this pair of black loafers. I had to eat them quick because my Dad was in the shower and my Mom was still sleeping. My Mom was so mad at me, she spanked me a few times. She thought she taught me a lesson. But, guess what....she didn't.

My Grandpa/Business Partner visited me this weekend. He was trying to fix my parents busted computer, so I could get back on the blogsphere. So while he was upstairs in the office, I ate up his dress shoes. Damn, they were good. They had these tassel things on them that were just calling me out to rip off and eat. Anyway, my Grandpa wasn't too mad, but he did joke with my Dad that he owed them $200 bux for his shoes. I guess you can say I have an expensive shoe fetish.

Anyway, that's it for now. I have a long day tomorrow. My Mom is going to take me to the Bark Park with her Mom (my Grandma). It should be lots of fun. Bye now. Woof!
