Molly and I have discovered the most fun EVER...all day, we wait for the sprinklers to come on in the back yard. Then, we take off like crazy buggs through the water. But yesterday Molly took it to a new level. She rolled around in the mud and tracked it inside. I mean, she got that mud everywhere. My mom was so mad! Molly was covered in it. Her face was caked with mud and her paws were filthy. Her white chest patch was no longer white and mud dripped off her fur. Naughty Bugg.

A Day in the Garden
Now that the weather is getting warmer (hopefully not too warm...us short snouted Buggs have a tough time with extreme heat!) we can really enjoy our backyard. Molly has recently discovered the fountain. I never really got into that thing, but man, she just gets right up in there. As for me, I am more of a smelling the flowers type of Bugg. If only I could convince Molly to stop digging the flowers out!

Buggs for Books
Hey Readers - its me Molly - shh, don't tell Bugsy, I'm stealing the computer to update our dlog.
I'm getting older now as you can see, so Bugsy's been teaching me to read. In this picture to the right you can see I'm reading. I'm actually reading under my parents bed late at night with my flashlight. I've been reading Cesar Milan books, because my Mom says I'm misbehaved. I guess he whispers to dogs or something.
I just like to nibble on things around the house, I don't mean any harm...I swear. I'm trying to get better - but maybe its justs because I'm still young, I'm only 6 months old by the way.
Oh I don't think Bugsy told you all, but I was spayed about a week ago. My Daddy dropped me off at the vet, and the next thing I know I had a pain in my stomach and big incision about an inch and a half long. I'm recovering quite nicely, but the area where they shaved me sure is itchy now on my stomach.
Anyway, I gotta finish my Cesar Milan book so I learn how to be more well-behaved. Bye now.

How many dogs use a dry cleaning service?
That's right, for those of you who know me, you know I like to look stylish. And sometimes my wardrobe just doesn't look as crisp coming out of the washer (thanks Mom!) So, the other day, I snuck one of my favorite tees into my mom and dad's dry cleaning. Ha ha, I'm so clever. I plan to continue using this service. People have come to depend on me for my keen fashion sense, after all.

Mommy's little helper
Molly has become quite the little helper around the house, in fact, she just loves loading the dishes into dishwasher. Of course, she probably causes more trouble around the house then she helps. If there is a napkin on a table, she will grab it and mom will find it shredded all over the place. Plants. Remote controls, soda cans. Nothing is safe.

Not yet the top of the class
We Buggs need our rest...it's tough work to be a star pupil. Molly and I are taking an obedience class at Petsmart on Sundays. There are a lot of cool cats (meaning dogs) in my class--a boxer, bulldog, Chihuahua, pit bull, some kind of herding dog and a pug (looks just like a baby Chelsea). It's going to be some pretty tough competition.
Of course, the first class, I was used as the demonstration. We did a "watch me" command and I nailed it! Come on, I need a challenge. Molly is getting better too. We mastered "sit" last week, but we have some serious work to do on our short leash walking. I mean, I've been using one of those retractable leashes for so long now, it's tough to just switch on command. It's my mom and dad's fault.
I got a negative referral last weekend for my bad behavior. I don't know what got into me. I just couldn't stop talking during class. First, that herding dog was barking, so I had to bark back. And then I had my eye on that sweet Pug, so I had to make my move. I guess I need to work on my citizenship grades too!! Sorry mom...

Fun With Food
Of course, I would rather have my mom and dad here with us during the day, but I'll take the next best thing...food! My parents try to give us fun and interesting food to keep us occupied throughout the day (I think they just don't want Molly to dig up the backyard!) It only works half the time, but man, are these treats ever tasty!! What will they come up with next?
This was the best treat of all...a long, twisty pig tail...that entertained me for several days
Molly thinks she's pretty smart for figuring out this tricky thing...I'm not so good at it yet
